Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Just a 30 minute drive from the bright lights of Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers breathtaking views, along with world-class hiking and climbing. This site is managed by the Bureau of Land Management and offers year-round enjoyment to visitors from around the world.

Southern Nevada Conservancy has been working to support Red Rock Canyon for over 28 years under a cooperative agreement with the Bureau of Land Management.  We operate the beautiful gift store inside the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center where you can find a wide variety of books, gifts, and apparel, all focused on elevating your understanding, appreciation and memories of this special place.  Profits from retail sales support a wide variety of programs and activities from free guided hikes led by our staff naturalists to publications, exhibits, and school field trips.  We also operate the entry station where you receive your visitor guide, your daily amenity fee is collected, and a variety of annual passes are sold.  As a non-profit, we can accept donations and grants to help support Red Rock Canyon and we have acted as project managers for renovation and installation projects at both the old and new visitors centers.
