The Ranger Alex Rose Memorial Fund
As a Park Ranger from 2014 through his untimely death last year, Alex Rose was responsible for much of the interpretive and educational programming at the California Trail Interpretive Center. Whether he was talking to school field trip groups about the most valuable belongings carried by pioneer migrants or facilitating artistic expression by students from the nearby Duck River Reservation, Alex had a passion for connecting people to their history. The results of his work will have a ripple effect on children and adults of all ages from all walks of life, for years to come.
Your gift will be used to carry on the interpretive and educational programming Alex was most passionate about; many of these programs targeting children but enjoyed by folks of all ages. Donors contributing $250 or more to the Fund will be acknowledged with their name on the donor wall inside the California Trail Interpretive Center lobby.
